JCCCI, a Mumbai-based company that makes canvas, has expanded its India operations with the hiring of four more employees, including three employees in Bangalore.
The company said in a statement that it has invested Rs 1,500 crore in the city, adding that the new employees will help it to accelerate its expansion in the state.
JCCI’s chief executive Amitabh Kumar told ET that the expansion in Bangalore and Hyderabad was for the benefit of both companies.
“Our customers are growing rapidly in the Indian market and the JCCIs vision is to serve the customers better in the long run,” Kumar said.
“The Bengaluru office is expected to be operational by the end of this year.
We are also working on expanding in Chennai and other cities in the country.”JCCCI had a presence in India in 2005.
Kumar said the expansion will help the company to cater to all customers, with the goal of serving them well in the coming years.
JCPHCL will be the first company to be added to the JCP HCL, he added.
The hiring of the new hires comes as JCPCL continues to look for additional talent.
“We are also actively looking for qualified employees and have already acquired over 2,500 positions from across India,” Kumar added.
JCAKL, a Chennai-based business, had already hired four new employees in September.
