The president’s latest attempt to make the news seems to be working.
On Tuesday, the Trump administration announced the nomination of former Fox News host Neil Cavuto as the next chief White House correspondent.
Cavuto, who has made headlines before with his controversial and often controversial opinions, is likely to make his White House debut alongside other journalists who have already been selected.
The administration also named White House Correspondents Association President Richard Smith to be its new director of press operations.
And on Wednesday, the White House announced it would hire former CNN reporter Jim Acosta to fill the role of White House communications director, a role previously held by Anthony Scaramucci.
